Andrea Auten

Andrea Auten is a cross-genres writer. She holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles where she is adjunct faculty and works as a writing specialist. With a passion for lifelong learning, she also holds an MA in creative writing, a BFA in musical theatre, a BS in art education, has extensive experience in these disciplines, and integrates each in her writing and teaching methods. Her work can be found in Lady/Liberty/Lit, Lunch Ticket, The Antioch Voice, Made in L.A.'s Third Anthology: The Art of Transformation, and her podcast with fellow MFA alum Mireya S. Vela at The Scapegoat Guild Podcast. A member of the DWG Writers Group, she is currently working on a novel.  Andrea lives with her husband, son, and beloved cats, Eva and Poe.
