Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB) campus has designated classrooms that are equipped with MediaCarts. The equipment consists of a computer with built-in screen (monitor / large TV), video-camera and microphone. This technology will enable classes to be taught in-person and remotely simultaneously. MediaCarts are programmed to automatically turn on and off everyday.
Quick tips on How to Use MediaCarts :
Login to AUDirect to access materials saved on Google Drive or GMail.
If Simul-teaching (in-person and Zoom), host the Zoom meeting using your laptop or computer device, then open zoom and join the meeting from the MediaCart (TV).
Do NOT unplug any cables from the MediaCart or any other device in the classroom.
Do NOT attempt to connect any other device or flash-drive to the MediaCarts.
Do NOT Shut down /Turn off. MediaCarts are on an auto-programing schedule.
Log out of all sessions on the MediaCarts.
Please refrain from creating a Google Chrome profile on any of the MediaCart devices, as this may compromise the integrity of AU accounts.
