Kindness Week Activities

Hello SCES families! November is the month of World Kindness Day and in honor of spreading kindness among our mini-Mounts, the counseling team is putting together school-wide activities that will focus on teaching our students  how they can be kind to themselves, and to others. We look forward to the participation of our students and families during these events!

School Based Counseling

We are continuing to offer School Based Counseling services through Betterview Counseling. This is a service best described as a professional therapist that your student would see during the school day, which saves you the time of having to take them to a counseling office after school.

• If you have any health forms that have been sent home with your student, please return them as soon as possible. Many of these forms are very important for us to have on file while they are with us in the building. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 

• If your child is sick with flu like symptoms (fever, vomiting, has diarrhea, etc.) please do not send them to school. Your child must be home, free of symptoms, for 24 hours before they are permitted to return to school. 

• Please send your student with an extra outfit in their backpack. Bathroom accidents and lunch room spills do happen and having a pair of their own clothes to change into can help ensure that they are comfortable the rest of the day.
