today we started off on our journey we put our boat in the water and set off we dont have mutch food or many clothes but momma and poppa are sure we can make it gramma is alos coming woth us she says it is no longer safe were we are grandpa is not comin with us i wish he was but momma and poppa say he is to old and to sick to mmoke the trip so he  is staying here with ms marine our old neibor she is going to care for him

my final thoughs on refuge are good it is a good book and does show the struggles that people went thorught in htose times and it was not sugar coated how hard thoese times were.
