For our service project we helped kindergartners with their bird expedition. My bird buddy's name was Addie, she wasn't there a lot but she was really fun to work with. I had to use a lot of compassion, respect and responsibility with the kindergartners. It took a lot of patience, respect and compassion to get the assigned task done in time because Addie was very stubborn. I had to use responsibility when we took the greenbelt walk to look at bird and nests because there were cars and bikes close to us and keeping track of our kindergartners was really hard. Overall, I think this was really enjoyable and a great learning experience. 

Learning Target- I can contribute to the wellness of my community through service.

My most important contribution during SOS was informing my community about my problem. I plan to contribute to the wellness of my community by helping pick up trash around my neighborhood.
