Yo-Yo

The purpose of the yo-yo project was to learn to create a wood toy so that you can make a website documenting to process.

Journal entry 1

I used a hole saw to make wooden disks that I used for a yo-yo. I put a wood dowel in disk #1 then I let dry. The next day I cut another disk and sanded both disks. Then I glued the wood dowel to disk #2. I will put string on the yo-yo after it drys.

Journal entry 2

I painted the disks two different colors because it will blend into one color when it spins.

I put the string on the yo-yo and started playing with it. I need practice.

Sand the disks very well before gluing them together
