Set Yourself & Your Foster Up For Success!
As a current or previous foster I know, you know, the first few days are sometimes the hardest for a foster dog to adjust! This period is crucial to ensuring that the foster dog can settle into your home and successfully decompress from the shelter.
Basic training can not only make your foster experience easier but also helps set your foster up for success in their adoptive home :)
Good Pup Trial (Free)
Good pup is a paid subscription service that provides access to a trainer and a whole library of training content!
This is super helpful in that first week to troubleshoot issues like pulling on leash, house manners, basic obedience, crate training and more! If you find their content helpful and would like to subscribe you are welcome to do so– animals at ACL get a donation for each subscription so it is a win-win :)
