Some helpful advice for this journey you're about to undertake...
Contact your instructor immediately if you have an academic problem. Keep the lines of communication open.
All communication must be through your ASU Email Account. Outside emails often wind up in our spam folders, so we may not ever see them. If you have not received an email response in 48 hours. then please send your faculty a reminder email and/or a phone message.
Contact ASU Technical Support if you have a Blackboard or Email problem. The helpdesk number is 866-942-2911.
Pay attention to due dates and timelines for quizzes, exams, discussions, and other assignments. It is important to contribute to discussions on time, so your groups can get their responses in on time as well. Make sure you are accessing quizzes on time and before the last hour. If you have problems, waiting until the last minute does not allow for modifications/accommodations to be made. So, please be sure to take quizzes and exams early if possible, and if you have any technical issues, always contact the ASU IT Service Center at (325) 942-2911 and notify your professor immediately of issues you are experiencing.
Review rubrics for the assignments so you are getting full points and know what is expected of you.
Use the "I Have a Question" discussion board to ask a class-related question as there is often another student who has the same question. It also saves your professor time by not having to email each student separately with the same question. There are always good questions...please use this area for those. If you have a question that ONLY pertains to you and your progress in the course or personal issues in the course, please email your professor directly.
