Our Green Guidelines Task Force is leading the charge in reducing single-use plastic on campus and promoting eco-friendly practices through green events and green procurement. By encouraging the use of reusable alternatives and implementing policies that prioritize sustainable choices, we aim to minimize plastic waste and its environmental impact.
Our green events emphasize sustainability, from compostable materials to zero-waste goals, creating experiences that align with our values. Additionally, through green procurement, we ensure that the products and services we source are environmentally responsible, supporting a campus-wide commitment to sustainability and inspiring others to adopt greener habits.
Over the past year, our committee has worked on creating Green Guidelines so everyone can come together and be more green together! Look at Green Vendor to find food and merchandise vendors that are sustainable, and the Eco Friendly guidelines to learn more about how we can stay sustainable.
The Green Guidelines Committee meets bi-weekly. Join our GChat Space to find out when we are meeting next or to join the conversation.
