Current Projects (2024-2025)
Our Green Guidelines Task Force is leading the charge in reducing single-use plastic on campus and promoting eco-friendly practices through green events and green procurement. By encouraging the use of reusable alternatives and implementing policies that prioritize sustainable choices, we aim to minimize plastic waste and its environmental impact.
Our university’s recycling project is focused on encouraging students to recycle more effectively while raising awareness about the importance of responsible waste management.
The Passport team has been developing a digital application that allows students to show how they interact with sustainability initiatives throughout their time at CMU-Q through earning digital badges.
This initiative not only makes SDGs visible and accessible but also encourages our community to actively engage with the goals in meaningful ways, we hope to activate 17 SDGs spaces around campus and provide education in each of the spaces.
Behind the Assembly area, we've started growing our own vegetables, herbs, and flowers! Be part of this transition to bring greenery to campus for a sustainable future.
