Purpose:

  • To deepen the learners' understanding of the SAMR and Bloom's Taxonomy models.
  • To provide digital tools and resources to help enhance and transform lesson design.
  • To assist educators in selecting the appropriate digital tool to enhance and transform learning for all students.

Goal:

  • Participants will be able to define technology and understand its role in education.
  • Participants will gain knowledge about SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) model and Bloom's Taxonomy
  • Participants will increase their understanding of integrating SAMR and Bloom's to select the right digital tools needed to personalize learning.
  • Participates will be inspired to use digital tools to enhance and transform learning.

Objectives:

  • Provide an overview of the SAMR model and Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Describe how to integrate differentiated digital resources to personalized instruction for all types of learners.
  • Provide an opportunity to reflect on a previous lesson.
  • Provide an opportunity to use the SAMR & Bloom's model, enhancing and transforming the lesson design.
