The 2025-2026 year begins my 39th year teaching and my 13th year at Southwood. I have taught Special Needs, 3rd,4th,5th,8th and 9th grade. I absolutely love teaching, and I am very dedicated to help students be successful in my math class. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Ed and certification in Special Ed from Erskine College. I enrolled in AIU to get my Masters in Education and Clemson to become Secondary Certified in Math. I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I grew up in Anderson and graduated from Westside High School. My husband, Bobby, and I have been married 38 years with two biological children , Sarah and Daniel. We have had the awesome opportunity to raise our niece and nephew, Gracie and River and we considered them our children also. We attend Varennes Heights Baptist Church. I have 4 amazing grandchildren, Jacob 12, Chaselyn 10, Carter 8, Sterling born July 27. I enjoy reading, watching mystery or crime shows, and spending time with my family.
