Mrs. Haynie
8th Grade Math
Blocks 2,3, and 4
The 2025-2026 school year begins my thirty-six year teaching middle school math. I spent the first thirty-three years of my career teaching 8th grade math and algebra at Belton Middle School in Anderson District 2. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Clemson University and a Masters degree in Middle School mathematics from Walden University. My husband, Ted, and I celebrated our 31st anniversary this summer. We have six children: Ted Jr., Margaret, Caroline, Will, Jordan (daughter-in-law), and our new son-in-law Holden. I enjoy being being outside, fishing, the beach or lake, cutting grass and cherish anything involving my family.
I love teaching! I love math! I feel that I have been called to be a teacher! I am so excited to be part of the Southwood family and look forward to working together this school year.
