May 2026 – We’re excited to announce the launch of WelcomeNL, a new pre-arrival program designed to help eligible newcomers prepare for life in the province before they arrive!
The program is available at no cost to eligible participants planning to move to Newfoundland and Labrador. It provides personalized assistance in three key areas: settlement planning, employment resources, and language learning.
WelcomeNL is delivered with support from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development.
The program's aim is to help participants access essential services, find work, and integrate into their new communities more quickly and confidently.
