Learn how to help students develop number sense and find out why this is so important at every stage of a child’s development. Children should be able to visualize and discuss freely the meaning of numbers. They should be encouraged to compute basic operations mentally and acquire skills involving approximation. Discover ways to assist students in grades K-college to develop a sense of reasonableness to their answersin mathematical questions.
