The entire membership of AMTNYS acknowledges with pride our accomplishments in helping prospective teachers of mathematics.
AMTNYS began the scholarship program in 1987 with 1 award. The following year, we awarded 2 scholarships. In 1994, with the generous support of its membership, we incresed the number of scholarships to 3 awards. We currently award four scholarships to assist a worthy few, who are currently studying to be math teachers. This money is primarily raised by donations given by members and friends to The AMTNYS Scholarship Fund (Simply indicate your donation on your membership form)
