Friends of AMTNYS

Description

A Recognition Award to be granted to an individual in recognition of  significant contribution of time, talent, and/or treasure to AMTNYS in support of the professional development of teachers, the building of community and/or mathematics education in New York State.

Criteria

• Candidate must have a history of contribution of time, talent, and/or treasure to the association in support of professional development of teachers, community building, and/or mathematics education in New York State.

• Candidate must be recommended by the Executive Board (i.e., no open nominations).

• Candidate need not be member of AMTNYS

• Past-Presidents of AMTNYS, recipients of the Distinguished Service Award, and past recipients of this Friends award are not eligible.
