I Was Walking In the Park

As I idly strolled along the park,
I noticed a small butterfly
Gracefully land on your head.
It must have confused your
Delicate, dark red curls
For the petals of a Chocolate Cosmos
And your sweet fragrance
For a flower’s aroma.
As our eyes slowly locked,
My stomach was instantly filled with
Hundreds of shimmering butterflies.
In that moment, I couldn’t help but wonder
If our relationship would metamorphosize
The way a caterpillar does into a butterfly.
It felt like I was probing for sweet nectar
As I moved from your eyes and
Busily scanned the rest of your body.
Like a butterfly that landed on a flower,
I instinctively knew that I would need to Explore deep inside of you
In order to access your sweet nectar.
And from the very moment I do,
I am going to enjoy
every
last
drop.
