Advisory No. 01: Visa Requirement to Enter Indonesia
Visa Advisory to Participants of the 29th AMIC Annual Conference
Visa Requirement to Enter Indonesia
Travelers from ASEAN countries (i.e., Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Vietnam) can enter Indonesia without a visa, provided that they have a valid passport and a confirmed departure ticket.
Travelers from 92 countries (full list here) may obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) upon their arrival or apply for an electronic VOA prior to departure to Indonesia.
To obtain Visa on Arrival electronically, foreigners can access https://molina.imigrasi.go.id and make payments online via Visa, MasterCard or JCB.
All other foreigners who wish to visit Indonesia (but cannot obtain a Visa on Arrival) must obtain a visa from the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate in your country of residence or electronically (if possible), in accordance with the purpose of their visit. Electronic visa applications can be made here.
AMIC and UNPAD will issue a letter to conference speakers and participants regarding their official participation to the conference scheduled on 28-30 September 2023.
Custom Declaration
All travelers from outside Indonesia must fill up and submit online (preferably prior to departure) an Electronic Custom Declaration (ECD) Form, in order to receive an instant QR Code on their phone or e-mail, which must be shown for Custom Clearance. We suggest you make a ScreenShot of the QR Code, and keep it handy in your Phone (or have it printed).
The ECD form is available at https://ecd.beacukai.go.id
