An empty playlist is created for the selected date, as depicted.
You can now start building your playlist from this page.
3. Click CREATE PLAYLIST, as depicted in the above figure, to display an empty playlist with a hole of duration 24 hours.
4. Click the CREATE SHOW button to create shows in the playlist.
You can create the required number of shows one after the other.
5. Create breaks in the Playlist.

6. Once you are done with creating the required shows and breaks in the Playlist, save the playlist.
You can create a show in two ways:
Via Create Show modal window.
By dragging assets from the Media Library.
To create a show through the CREATE SHOW modal window, perform the following steps
Click CREATE SHOW.
The CREATE SHOW modal window is displayed.
2. Provide the required details, and click CREATE.
A new empty show is created in the Playlist with the specified duration, for example, 10 minutes. Since no assets are scheduled in the show, an underrun of 10 minutes is displayed for the show, as depicted.
Underrun of 10 minutes denotes that there is a hole of duration 10 minutes in the show.
Expand the show to view the hole details.
4. Add assets to the show by dragging the required assets from the Media Library to the Playlist hole.
For details, follow steps 1 to 3 in Create shows via dragging assets from the Media Library.
When the hole is filled completely, the underrun label will be removed from the show. Similarly, if the duration of assets scheduled in the hole is more than the hole duration, the duration difference will be displayed with an overrun label, as depicted.
In the example depicted, the asset Sintel of duration 14 minutes, 46 seconds and 28 frames is scheduled to the hole of duration 10 minutes. Hence an overrun of 4 minutes, 46 seconds and 28 frames (the difference in duration) is displayed as overrun.
Another way to create shows from scratch is by dragging assets from the Media Library to the Playlist.
To do that, perform the following steps:
Ensure that the Playlist is opened in edit mode.
Click the Media Library icon to open the Media Library widget, as depicted.
Note: All the segments of the selected assets will get auto-populated in the created show, and the name of the show will be the same as the selected asset.
Note: You can drag primary items directly to the Playlist, but you can drag secondary items only to another primary asset.
