To create a new channel, perform the following steps:
1. Click Linear TV → All Channels
If no channels are created yet, the Channels screen will be empty, as depicted
2. Click ADD CHANNEL → Add a new channel
The Add New Channel page is displayed, where you can provide the basic information such as long and short descriptions about the channel, channel artworks, and output format of the channel.
3. Fill in the details in the sections such as Channel Information, Channel Description, Channel Artwork, and Output Format.
5. Use the Channel Artwork section to upload artwork and images to the channel for delivering to various regions via different platforms.
Click the Upload button as depicted above to upload the channel artwork.
Note: It is mandatory to upload the channel logo.
Ensure that you follow the guidelines provided in the right pane of the Channel Artwork section to upload the artworks correctly.
To remove the channel logo, click Remove corresponding to the required artwork.
6. Use the Output Formats section to provide details of the audio tracks and captions that need to be ingested.
The following table describes the various fields in the output formats section along with their descriptions.
7. Once done, click the CREATE CHANNEL button.
A channel creation success popup is displayed.
Your channel will start provisioning and the channel will be created in a few minutes. Once done, the created channel appears in the All Channels page. It shows the details of the newly added channel in a list view with the latest one appearing on the top, as depicted.
Note: If you do not want to complete the channel creation process now and want to work on it later, you can do so by clicking the SAVE AS DRAFT button. In such a case, the channel will be saved in draft state in the All Channels page with the status as Channel In Draft as depicted. You can edit it later, as required.
