Ingestion is the process of transferring media assets such as video, graphics, metadata, etc. from their original location to Amagi’s media asset management (MAM) system.
The ingestion source is the source from which assets are ingested to Amagi NOW.
Once the content ingestion is successful, the assets start appearing on your S3. The assets are then transcoded and ingested via the mRSS feed to Amagi’s Media Asset Management (MAM).
The ingestion details are displayed in the Ingestion Sources screen.
At times, the ingestion might fail because of bad asset quality. To resolve this issue, replace the bad quality assets with good ones and ingest again.
