When you log in to Amagi Now, the account dashboard is displayed as your landing page. This provides you with a high-level overview of what is happening in your account, the actionable items that need to be executed on your channel’s current state, the channel’s storage details, and the details regarding your active deliveries.
The callouts in the image are described below-
Displays the current date and time of the content partner along with the broadcast time zone
Displays all the channels created by the content partners. By default, all channels are selected. You can deselect this option and select the channels of your choice by applying filters.
Displays the monitoring widget for playlist failures for the chosen channels.
Displays the monitoring widget for asset ingestion failure for all the channels available in the system.
Displays the count of channels whose details are displayed on the dashboard. For details, refer to the Total Channels widget.
Displays the My Library widget, which provides information about the storage details available for the selected channels.
Displays the deliveries that are currently active for the content partner. For details, refer to My Active Deliveries.
You can filter the display of channels in the account dashboard using the Channels list.
By default, filters are not applied on the channels. Hence, all the channels available in the system are displayed in the Total Channels widget.
Hence, all the channels available in the system are displayed in the Total Channels widget.
To filter the dashboard display by specific channels, follow the below steps:
Open the Channels list, and select one or multiple channels as per your choice. Click outside to close the filter.
The Total Channels widget changes its label to Selected Channels and the channel count is updated based on your latest selection of channels.
To clear all the applied filters simultaneously, click the CLEAR ALL button.
Once done, the Total Channels widget toggles back to Selected Channels widget.
To clear a single filter at a time, click the close icon adjacent to the required filter.
Displays the total count of playlist failures that needs to be rectified for the chosen channels starting from the current day until the five successive days.
Note: The failures happened during playlist scheduling are applicable only for the channels selected by you.
Click the eye icon corresponding to the Playlist failures to navigate to the Playlist pod.
Displays the total count of asset ingestion failures that needs to be rectified for all channels available in the system.
Note: The failures happened during ingestion are displayed for all available channels irrespective of the channels selected.
Click the eye icon corresponding to the Ingest failures to navigate to the Ingest pod.
The Total Channels widget displays the total number of channels created in the system for which the actions need to be taken.
The count of channels is displayed as a donut chart. The count varies based on the channels that you choose. For example, if you select 3 channels, the total channel count is displayed as 3.
The current status of the channel is shown here.
Hover anywhere on this status to view the corresponding channel names. Hover on the channel name to view the actional items.
For details on performing actions on these channels, refer to the below section
1. Hover anywhere on the actionable item field to display the channels on which the action needs to be taken.
In this example, the current channel state implies that the playout is started for the channel, but the delivery is not configured.
2. Once the channel name is displayed, hover on the channel name to view the various actions that you can perform on the current state of the channel.
Here, you can execute the following actions from the Dashboard page:
Click START DELIVERY to start the delivery of the channel
Click STOP PLAYOUT to stop the player.
The My Library widget provides information about the storage details available for storing the ingested assets.
It provides the following details:
Total storage space available for storing the ingested assets. (5 TB)
The storage space consumed by the selected channels. (231.17 GB)
Assets available in the storage (graphics, media, and subtitles) along with the asset count (23 graphics, 974 media and 130 subtitles), and the storage space consumed by the individual asset categories (42.98 MB, 231.17 GB and 512.51 KB)
After you configure a channel and start the delivery, the channels will be delivered through the selected platform to various regions.
The My Active Deliveries widget displays details such as the name of the channel, platforms to which the channels are delivered to, the various regions to which the deliveries are done, and the monetization status of the channel delivery.
The green dollar sign adjacent to a region indicates that the channel delivery to that region is monetized.
If no deliveries have been configured for your channel yet, an empty screen is displayed, as shown.
