Alwoodley 2030 volunteers are passionate about decarbonising how we get around Alwoodley and beyond. Since we launched in December 2022, we've:
Hosted an Active Travel Party as part of the Leeds 2023 Celebrations. This included:
Free pop up cycle repair
A guided family cycle ride around Eccup Reserviour by the Leeds Cycle Campaign
Outreach by Valley Striders
Community Canvassing about barriers to active travel
Coordinated a Ward Wide Walk to School Week, which included:
Along with Living Streets, we've been nominated and shortlisted for for a Modeshift Sustainable Travel Award our work on the Ward Wide Walk to School Week!
