Measuring Air Pollution Near Schools

We have installed five air pollution sensors near primary schools across the ward. (Highgate, Wigton Moor, Alwoodley/St. Paul's, Primley Wood and Allerton C of E). Check out the  live air quality tracking map! You can save this to your homescreen and easily check the air quality as you're out in about. 

These sensors measure a range of particulate matter which have negative health impacts and contribute to global heating.  How will each school use this data to promote Walk to School Week May 7th - 10th? Watch this Space!
