Student “empowerment” and “ownership” need to be more central in today’s digital age classroom if effective teaching and learning are to be attained. It takes 2 to tango; it takes a partnership to succeed. Motivation, pride in one’s identity, and power of authority, need to be shared by both learners and educators.
