La Sierra students in grades 9–12 have the opportunity to take part in our Dual Enrollment program, which allows them to earn both high school and college credit at the same time.
Through partnerships with Riverside City College (RCC) and Norco College, students can enroll in college-level courses that fit alongside their regular high school schedule. Classes are offered online, making it easier for students to participate, and completed courses can be added directly to the student’s high school transcript. This program helps students get a head start on their college journey while still in high school.
Counselors will email students a sign up form to their school email account, and students must sign up through that form.
Counselors will also provide multiple sign up workshops to help students enroll and choose a class.
Don't wait! Classes fill up and they are on a first-come, first served basis. Sign up early!
Fall Dual Enrollment: Sign-ups start in April
Spring Dual Enrollment: Sign-ups start in November
Sign-Ups end 2-3 weeks before the term begins. This is so the college has time to deliver textbooks needed for our students.
Dual Enrollment is open to ALL GRADES, 9th-12th. We recommend 9th graders wait until their 2nd semester in High School before starting a Dual Enrollment class.
Classes depend on the college and can vary. Counselors will share this with students in the sign-up form, and with parents in the monthly newsletter on ParentSquare.
