CaliforniaColleges.edu is a free, state-supported college and career planning platform provided by the California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI).

It’s a powerful tool that helps students:

✅ Track A–G course progress
💸 Learn about financial aid
📝 Save and submit applications for CSU, CCC, and FAFSA/CADAA

All La Sierra High School students have access to a personal account that connects their high school information with their college and financial aid plans.

Students can log in at www.californiacolleges.edu using their school email.

Registering your account - Students

To begin your CaliforniaColleges.edu experience, the first step is registering your student account. The platform provides high school students the tools to match their interests and skills to postsecondary college and career opportunities.

Step-by-Step Registration - PARENTS

⚠️IMPORTANT NOTE: a student must create and activate their account on CaliforniaColleges.edu before a parent or guardian can register and link to them.

Instructions:

Go to www.CaliforniaColleges.edu
Click on “Register Your Account”
Select “I am a Parent/Guardian”
Start typing Riverside Unified School District and select it from the dropdown menu
Start typing La Sierra High School and select it
Enter your student’s information:
- First and last name
- Student ID number (also called SSID, can be found on the transcript or on Aries under the "Student Info." or "Demographics" tab
- Date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
Check the box to confirm you are the parent/guardian
Click “Next”
Sign up using your email and create a password (or sign up with Google)
Click “Register”

✅Once your account is set up, you can:

View your student’s activity and track their progress

Explore colleges, careers, and financial aid tools

Access helpful resources to support your child’s goals

Add additional students under your “My Students” section if needed
