NCAA Checklist:
9th Grade
Student asks counselor for a list of high school's core courses to ensure he/she takes the right classes
10th Grade
Student registers with the NCAA Eligibility Center @ eligibilitycenter.org
11th Grade
Student checks with counselor to make sure he/she will graduate on time with all required NCAA core courses
Student takes the ACT or SAT, submitting his/her scores to the NCAA using code 9999
At the end of the year, counselor provides student's official transcript to NCAA Eligibility Center
12th Grade
Student finishes last NCAA core courses
Student takes the ACT or SAT again, if necessary, submitting his/her scores to the NCAA using code 9999
After April 1, student requests final amateurism certification decision from NCAA Eligibility Center
After graduation, counselro provides student's final official transcript with proof of graduation to the NCAA eligibility Center
