STEP 1
Learn your Login info
You have 3 parts to your login:
1) Your username- first 5 letters of last name, first 3 letters of first name, and 3 digits. This is your name for EVERYTHING in the computer lab.
2) Your email address- [yourusername]@alpinesd.org
3) Your password- Mrs. Sauers will give your password on a paper for you to take home.
When logging into the computers, REMEMBER:
No sneaky spaces, before or after your username and password
No capital letters in the password
Spelling matters! Make sure you have everything spelled correctly
STEP 2
Open Google Chrome and sync your profile to your computer
Here are the steps (click through the photos to the right to see examples):
Click on the circle profile icon in the top right corner of Google Chrome and click the blue "Turn on sync" button
Type your whole email address (don't forget @alpinesd.org) and then click blue 'Next' button
Type your password and then click the blue 'Next' button
On the next screen, click 'Create'
On the last screen, click 'Yes, I'm in'
Close the old window and use the window with your profile!
Extras: Double-click on the color bar to maximize your window. Click on your profile, then click the pen icon to customize your profile (change the color and icon)!

How to Bookmark a website - After watching the video, go ahead and bookmark Mrs. Sauers' website on your 'Bookmarks Bar'
Vocabulary in the computer lab - Go through the slide deck and become familiar with the common words and routines in the computer lab!
