Emergency Instructions (Google Slides to show students)
Earthquake: Instruct students to get under their desks, turn the chair around and pull it to the desk (so the high back is against the desk and helps keep debris out). Stay until safe or drill is over.
Fire Drill: Grab the Seating Chart clipboard and a dry erase marker. Have the students line up in ABC order. Turn off the lights and instruct the last student to close the door. Lead the class out the front doors, across the parking lot, and have them line up directly to the left of the school sign. Check to make sure each student is present. If all the students are present (who are not absent that day), write the teacher's name on the sheet protector on the green side and hold it up. If you're missing a student, write the teacher's name on the sheet protector on the red side and an admin will come talk to you. Once the all clear is made, lead the class back to the computer lab.
Lockdown: Instruct the students to try to turn off their monitors (some are locked and can't turn off) and get under their desks. Pull their chairs in and stay quiet. Close and lock the door. Turn off the lights. Sit under any computer 34-36 and pull the chair in. Do not unlock the door for anyone except front office.
Lockout: Proceed with class as normal, but shut and lock the door. No one is allowed to go into the halls at this time until the lockout has been lifted (no bathroom or water breaks).
