Hello AOS Students/Parents,

Certain teachers have been assigned to each course and can be reached in the PARTICIPANTS tab on the side navigation bar once you are logged in. It may be someone other than your Alpine Online Teacher.
For those of you in Game Design using your OWN computers please follow the directions below. If you borrowed a laptop from the district you DO NOT need to download Fusion.
The Introduction to Game Design course requires the software "Fusion". Please note that Fusion is not the actual course. It's just the software needed to complete the lessons in the course. If you are borrowing a district laptop, Fusion will already be loaded onto that computer. If you are using your own device, you will need to download Fusion. The instructions to download are here: Fusion download instructions
Please follow the download instructions carefully. If there are issues with the download, you will need to contact Clickteam to troubleshoot. Alpine Online is not responsible for downloading issues.
There are sixteen units in this course. To show a completed year for Alpine Online, students should complete 11 of the 16 units (2 this term, and 3 each of the other terms). You are free to complete whichever units you wish. If you'd like to complete the course to 100%, you will need to complete approximately one unit every two weeks.
Lesson plans and printable materials are attached to help teach and learn the signs in each online unit. (If you have trouble downloading the zip files, please email Kathryn Persch at kpersch@alpinedistrict.org.)
At the end of each unit:
print the Show You Know doc for your child to complete.
take a picture of the finished pages, and email them to your teacher.
This will be the documentation of your child's progress through the course.
