There are two places where the page clicked took us to another browser window that doesn't show in the video. The first is in the beginning when going to the attendance page. That screen looks like this:
The other place where the screen talked about doesn't show in the video is the Help option along the navigation bar in the 6th-8th courses. It looks like this:
Dear Parents,
You've probably noticed today that ELA STRIDE was added to most k12.com accounts for K-5th graders. This was not added to ELA 4th grade accounts because it is not available for that grade.
STRIDE is a supplemental program for your language arts class. It is not a mandatory course. Also, completion of STRIDE activities does not add to the overall completion percentage of your ELA course.
On occasion, students are asked to complete activities in STRIDE for their language arts courses. And as of today, you can do that. For those of you who have been skipping it, please don't go back and do those activities. Just going forward, feel free to use it if you think it will help your child in their learning.
