One of the commitments you made at the beginning of the year was that students attend 180 days of school.
Please note, that attendance can be marked on days that you do anything education related, such as reading, working on a project, going to a museum, going to the library, outdoor activities, testing practice, attending tests, etc. You do not need to be working in Calvert or K12 for attendance to count.
Weekends and holiday breaks can count.
I know that many of you only work 3-4 days a week and/or you have already finished your classes. No worries, just manually go in and mark attendance for the other days. Remember, students do not need to be working directly in K12 or Calvert for attendance to count.
Some of you have gone on trips or been sick. You can either list other days as make-up days or you can send me a list of the days you’d like excused. If you don’t remember the exact days just send me the general time of year and how many days.
Gina will be officially sending attendance to the district/state in May which is why it is extremely important that your attendance is up to date. I can only send Gina the official tallies that I see listed on Calvert and K12.
Marking Attendance in K12: This is all done through the parent account. Most of you have been doing this all year, if you need help with this, let me know.
Marking Attendance in Calvert: Here is VIDEO that explains how to manually mark attendance in Calvert.
