World War II

Timeline Activities

Pre War Years

  1. Students will be split into groups to study one of the events from the pre-war years.
  2. Groups will study the detailed page summaries and then, with their groups, create a picture to remember the facts and discuss the most important events that took place there.
  3. Groups will then do a Jigsaw to share their learning. As the jigsaw is done, students will draw pictures with the brief summaries they were given. The group member who was the expert on that event will be in charge of checking to make sure pictures are accurate for that particular event.
