Today you are going to create your own version of your country's flag. Be sure to include 5 "Fun Flag Facts" on the back. Use bullet points to list the facts. Here are some ideas:

1. Who created the flag?
2. When was the flag adopted?
3. What was going on in that country during the time the flag was created/adopted?
4. Are there any interesting stories about the flag?
5. What do specific parts of the flag represent?
6. What do the colors on the flag represent?

1. Create a google slides presentation and make a title page listing your name, the name of your country, and a picture.
2. The next slide should be a picture of your flag and some fun flag facts
3. Slide 3 should be a map of your country
4. Create a bibliography page at the end of your presentation put any picture sources you used here. (ONLY add sources you used for pictures on your slides. You will have a separate bibliography page with your report).
5. Today is a catch up day to work on anything not finished on your flag or map!

1. Create a title page including
   • Country Name
   • Student Name
   • Due Date for Report (April 28, 2017)
   • Teacher Name
   • 6th Grade
2. Finish any slides that you didn't complete
3. In the notes section of the slides, write down what you want to say for each slide as you present. Practice saying these things.
   • Remember your presentation needs to be 10 min.
   • If you bring items/artifacts to show from the country this does not count as part of the 10 min as it is NOT REQUIRED!
