The 🌈 PD Choice Board offers various ways teachers can integrate technology into their practice on their level, at their pace, and on their time.
The professional development "PD Choice Board" site is an asynchronous, self-paced, professional learning experience utilizing the indirect instructional strategy to engage adult learners. In completing the learning experiences, the transfer to practice rate is a guarantee in the deliverables, thus having a high impact on student achievement.
The method of delivery models equity through the opportunity to meet all learners regardless of experience level in technology integration. The deliverables offer a hands-on and real-world approach, while still engaging based on personal choice(s).
The why is professional learning opportunities that create a culture of trust, respect, and value in teacher voice/choice. The activities/tasks align with the district goals in the promotion of PLC (professional learning communities), exhibitions of student learning, student ILPs (Individual Learning Plans), and heavy on technology integration strategies at various levels.

About this Course: This provides a list of common digital tools that can be readily used in a classroom. Teachers will learn about the tools through tutorials, practice using the tools, then create a product for completion.
Please note this is a competency-based course. Teachers that wish to complete the Digital Tools Course must complete 2 tasks for a 1 hour PD credit from the list below. Requirements will include: submitting documentation of completion (Examples: sharing a link, video, document, etc..) through Google Classroom and completing a feedback form for each task.
Learning Intentions/Targets: Educators will gain basic knowledge various digital tools and use the tools in a classroom setting to further enhance instruction with technology.
