Raina Brown has two current SAE projects. Her first project is "Brown Breeding Ewes" where she keeps track of the time, money, and resources that she puts into raising ewes and lambs for production and showing purposes. Her second project is "Brown Family Farms" where she keeps track of the hours that she spends caring for the family sheep, horses, donkeys, and barnyard all together. She has been working on her longest SAE for four years and has invested over 730 hours and about $1,000 between both projects.
Ellie Cooper does "Elementary Mentoring and Tutoring" for her exploratory SAE project. She has been active in this SAE for 4 years and in her free time, she goes down to the elementary school and helps with students from kindergarten to 5th grade. She works with them in the classroom for extra help if needed and has friendship groups that give kids an opportunity to get out of the classroom and have a break from their peers. In the friendship group, she plays different games and simply has fun with the students. Along with that, she has a group that she assists with their academic struggles. Helping the students gives her an idea of what her future will look like as an elementary teacher.
