Cub Division Prizes

First Place: $500

Anyone ages 12 and under may enter the AIC Cub Division. 

Please note this refers to your age at the time of the submission deadline – Friday, March 1, 2024. If you will be 13 before this date, your idea will be moved into the JR Division. 

Participants aged 12 and under must have guardian permission and a signed media waiver to compete.

Alaska529 Awards

Competitors from the JR and Cub divisions, sponsored by Kinross Alaska, will share almost $4,000 in cash prizes and $14,000 in awards from Alaska 529 to start or add to an educational savings account. These awards will be shared among the JR and Cub winners, and a random drawing of any participant who submitted an idea in the JR or Cub divisions.
