This report summarizes the Kongiganak Wind System Battery Energy Storage Project awarded to Puvurnaq Power Company for purposes of lowering energy costs provided by Intelligent Energy Systems. It compares data collected between the years 2015 through 2019 specifically on diesel consumption by the community before and after the installation of Kongiganak Battery Energy Storage systems. These slides were used at the Department of Energy Summit, a presentation done by Roderick Phillip and Ronald David. It has useful information such as line or graph charts that compare diesel consumption in the years 2011, 2016, and 2018.
These slides were used at the Alaska Forum on the Environment Summit back in 2015.
