Learning how to read Qur'an had always been the center of importance for any muslim community. The most effective way of learning it is to have a one to one session with a teacher. This is a luxury that not many Muslim community in North America is privileged to. However, there are those who have enough knowledge to lend a hand. This program is designed to coordinate and facilitate teacher - student pairing. It is hoped that with more community members step up to fill in the roles, we can create a culture of Quran in our Al-Hidaya masjid where students can walk-in and wait for their turn to read with a teacher just like in most masajids in Muslim countries.Â
What's the advantage of enrolling as teachers?
Your availability to teach is totally up to you. You will manage your time and we anticipate of utilizing a shared calendar where community members can refer to real-time to determine teachers availability.
What's the advantage for you as students?
You have access to any of the available teachers at any time. This will allow you to increase the frequency of your reading practice with a qualified teacher, thus increasing your opportunity to make tangible progress, bi idhnillah.Â
