Below is a first/then schedule. We use this in speech and in the classroom to set expectations for the student. FIRST - read story THEN - 5 minute break. You can use this at home for tasks your child may not like to let them know when something they DO like is coming!

Below is a core board. Core words are the words most frequently used in our language (go, I, want, more, turn, etc.). This is a great tool for students who do not communicate verbally OR for students who may need some help creating grammatically correct sentences.
