About Me

Hello!

My name is Hayley Brodt, or as the students know me, Miss Hayley. I was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.

I attended the University of Kentucky for my undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders with a minor in linguistics and the University of Pittsburgh for my masters degree in speech-language pathology.

After graduation, I was a long-term substitute speech-language pathologist for Shaler Area School District.

I have been working as a speech-language pathologist at Sunrise School for a little over a year now and I love what I do!

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, biking, hiking, swimming, and hanging out with my friends and family (dog included!).

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is. That each of us has something that no one else has- or ever will have- something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression." -Mr. Rogers
