Please complete the form below after EACH activity you complete.
Working on VERBS:
To the right is an activity that works on identifying verbs, also known as action words. Read through the activity with her, pointing to the correct answer. For example: Who is walking? THEY are WALKING. Look--HE is EATING.
Once you do this, you can go through it a second time and see if she can point to the correct picture.
Working on WANT:
Below are two stories to read that repeat "WANT". You can read these with your child to reinforce what "WANT" means. Point to "WANT" on her core board as you say it in the story.
Working on GO:
Below are two stories that repeat "GO". As you read, point to "GO" on her core board.
To work on MORE:
Below are two stories that include the word "MORE" many times. You can use her core board and point to "MORE" each time it comes up, or you can use the symbol "MORE" (see below)
YES or NO:
Below are questions to work on identifying objects. You can say "Point to ___" to start and have her point to each picture. As she points, say, "Yes, this is a ___". As she gets better with this, you can ask yes/no questions. Is this an egg? She can use her core board to point to the correct answer.
