Mr. Andre van Wyk 

Andre van Wyk is the Technology Director at AISJ, overseeing both campuses and leading the integration of innovative technologies, including AI, into education. His work aligns closely with UNESCO’s initiatives on leveraging technology to improve learning outcomes, and he has shared his expertise as a guest speaker for the JoMUN UNESCO committee on the ethical implications of AI. He has also engaged with UNESCO’s publications, such as their guide on AI and education. Passionate about the role of education in fostering peace and sustainable development, Mr. Van Wyk emphasizes its power to build critical thinking, global citizenship, and service-minded leadership, preparing students to navigate complex challenges and shape a ‘human-centric’ future.
