Transcript Types
Official Transcripts: These are transcripts sent by AHS to a college or scholarship. These transcripts must be sent directly by us in order to be considered official. If an official transcript is needed on paper, it will come in a sealed envelope that can only be opened by the school or scholarship.
Unofficial Transcripts: These are transcripts that can be sent directly by you the student. They are not sealed and not sent directly from the school.
Arlington High School students can order transcripts online. The first ten transcripts are free, then it will be $2 per transcript. If transcript is sent via mail not email it may take a college 7-14 to process that they have received the transcript. If at that point the college does not show it as processed please contact the office of admission for that college.
Recommendation Letters
Recommendation Letters
Many scholarships and college applications will require students to turn in a letter of recommendation. Students should create a resume to help recommenders write the letter. For help in creating a resume try goin to the following website.
