Check your WiFi Settings:
Tap the System Settings icon and then "WiFi" in the left-side menu.
Under "My Networks" click on the circle-i to the right of AIS Google and make sure Auto-Join is ON.
Check the other networks and make sure that Auto-Join is OFF.
Check your NWEA MAP app:
Use the QR Code (or link) to the left to go to the Tech Support page and tap on iPad Setup for MAP.
Complete Step 1. If the NWEA MAP app opens and goes to the log in screen, you are ready to go for testing and DON'T need to complete Steps 2-4.
If you cannot open the app and have completed Step 1 to reinstall it on your device, ask your teacher to send a message on the MS MAP Google Chat so that a member of the CIT Team can come and assist.
3. Complete 2 Practice Tests:
On the log in screen of the NWEA MAP app, tap "try the Practice Test".
Log in; the username and password are both "grow" (all lowercase).
Follow the instructions to login and complete at least 2 practice tests (approx. 5 questions each) at your grade level.
4. Email techsupport@ais.edu.hk if you need additional help.
Students who need to update their iPadOS may have difficulty doing so over the school WiFi. If so, please remind them to update their iPadOS when they get home!
Send the names and student ID numbers of anyone who needs to update their OS to CIT@ais.edu.hk for follow up.
ALL students should be using the NWEA MAP app - do not allow any student to use the web version for ANY reason.
Please monitor students carefully during setup and testing--if you see tabs at the top of their screen, they are on the web version.
You don't need the Proctor Dashboard today!
But please review the proctoring instructions and script on your own BEFORE the first day of testing.
