Grade 5

During online school, grade 5 participated in a creative roleplaying game called 'Quest'. They participated in an interactive storytelling session, by responding to puzzles, dilemmas and problems in the role of a character. Students drew an original character and created an environment to illustrate their experience in 'Quest'.

Grade 5 students were inspired by birds, to create a range of observational drawings of feathers and bird forms. This project culminated in a 3D outcome, where students create a frame from cardboard and wire, then coating it in modroc (plaster bandage) to form a hard surface. They painted the birds in acrylic and then photographed them in the school garden.
