Job Description: 

Sabel Sanctuary Healing Farm in Chiefland is looking for a CVT who has experience with goats, chickens, horses and miniature cattle.

Hours are 7am to 10am Monday, Tuesday one week. Tuesday, Thursday the next week. Could lead to more hours in the future.

Compensation: commensurate with experience.

Job Description: 

You will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farm by providing compassionate care for our animals and ensuring the farm runs smoothly. We offer private living accommodations for up to two adults as part of the compensation package, and horse boarding may also be negotiated.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily care and maintenance of 2 horses, 12 cows, 8 pigs, 10 chickens, and 6 dogs

General ranch/farm work, including livestock care and groundskeeping

Maintenance of fencing, operation, and upkeep of tractors and farm equipment

Basic handyman and carpentry tasks as needed

Collaboration with team members to ensure an efficient and effective work environment

Qualities We’re Looking For:

Passion for animals and a strong commitment to their care

General knowledge of small ranch/farm operations

At least one member of the couple must have substantial experience caring for horses

Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Compensation: commensurate with experience, and horse boarding may be negotiated as part of the compensation package.
