Integrated Math 3

At AEON School, students are placed in the math course that best matches their ability level, allowing for personalized growth. While some students enroll in courses above or below their current grade level, most tenth-graders take Integrated Math 3. This course builds on prior knowledge and introduces advanced concepts to prepare students for higher-level mathematics.

In Integrated Math 3, students explore:

• Properties of circles: Investigating inscribed angles, arcs, and their relationships.

• Right triangle trigonometry: Applying trigonometric functions and their inverses to solve problems.

• Advanced trigonometry: Using the Law of Sines and Cosines in practical and theoretical applications.

• Volume of solids: Calculating the volume of three-dimensional figures, including cylinders, cones, and spheres.

• Trigonometric graphs: Analyzing transformations and the behavior of trigonometric functions as graphs.

• Matrix operations: Understanding applications of matrices, matrix algebra, and their role in solving systems of equations.

• Exponential and logarithmic functions: Examining their real-world applications, properties, and graphical representations.
